I am so excited to be listing this new design! I am re-introducing the rustic seafoam fabric from last summer. I originally had it in a different frame (smaller, whitewashed). I had to discontinue the frame, though, because I moved from Orlando to Cleveland, and apparently that frame is only sold in the south! I am in the process of designing my own whitewash frame, so keep your eyes peeled!
Anyways, I really like it in the barnwood frame! Check it out…
I also recently re-introduced my Dandelion Wishes fabric.

I get a decent amount of requests to add more hooks to my jewelry holders, and this usually leads me to have to make a custom listing for each one. While I do not mind making custom listings, this new listing for extra hooks will save everyone time!
I had fun taking the pictures, too!

Lime Green Corkboard Project

I am my little cousin’s confirmation sponsor, and I really wanted to make her something special for her special day. I decided that a cork board would be the perfect thing for an 8th grader to display all her pictures of her and her friends! When I was her age I think I had about 4 cork boards in my room overflowing with pictures. I found these really fun lime green knobs, which were awesome, because she’s re-doing her room in lime green and turquoise.

First, my dad and I counter sync-ed the frame. Then I had to trim the knobs because they come really long. For this, I used a bold cutter; my new favorite tool. I wood glued the cork to foam board, and then spray glued fabric on top of the cork and wrapped it around the back. Finish up the back with some screws and a board, and ta-da! A perfect, personalized Confirmation present! View more photos here.

Lots of changes have been happening over at geaugaroots lately!! I got a new workshop area… I’m going to post some pics because it’s awesome!
It’s almost garage sale season here in Ohio, and I am super antsy. I went to a flea market this weekend (to shop, not sell!), and was pretty successful. Picked up some old mason and apothecary jars for our wedding, and got a really really cool antique frame to make a jewelry holder out of!
I have also been making jewelry holders from some different frames that I forgot I had. I bought a few new fabrics, too, so I’ve been working on getting all of those made, photographed, and listed. Basically, I’m in the process of coming out with a whole new line of jewelry holders for Spring!!! I’m so excited!
Lastly, I’ve been trying to re-take some of my old pictures. I think I’ve finally got my style down, and I’ve really been loving my blue wall with lots of my frames! Olive Duck, featured in this picture has had a facelift and I think the improvement is AWESOME! See the old pics here. What do you think? Improvement?
Stay tuned for more updates!!
